Contractions

Well I have had a busy weekend, and I still may come out of it with a baby. I went to my check up Friday and the doctor told me I was already dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced (I am 36 weeks). So I went back to mom's to hang out a while. I kept getting sicker and sicker, and I started having contractions every 5 minutes. Russ came over after work and about 9:30 Friday night I we decided to go to the hospital to see if I was in labor. ( My beginning labor doesn't really hurt, just feels like braxton hicks.) So at the hospital they checked me again and I was at a 4+, so they admitted me. They also gave me a shot to stop the contractions so I spent a long, long night in the hospital with no contractions, and then Saturday morning they released me. So Saturday I slept, and started in with contractions again about 4 in the afternoon. It is now 4 AM, still having contractions every 15 minutes, but I am trying to hold off on the hospital till we are sure they won't try and send me home. They said because I still have 4 weeks they will not help induce me in anyway. (aghhghg) I also can't really go home because it is 45 minutes from the hospital, and I don't want a baby in the car! So we are all staying with my mom and dad...even the dog! Poor mom! So who knows how long we will be here.

Growing Larger

Well as you probably know we are on the final count down weeks till "baby boy" comes. The date is Nov. 14 but he will be here at least a week before that. So I am still growing to most peoples amazement. I cannot tell you how many times in the past month I tell people how many weeks I have left and they look at me in amazement. I was even asked if I was having twins...this month. So alas I am huge, but hopefully he will be healthy right? No need for a picture this post.

Wind storm

While we were camping there were 70 mile per hour winds at our house. We came home to a broken tree.

Flamming Gorge

This weekend we me the Doyle family in Flamming Gorge for a camping trip. We had a great time. We went hiking up this mountain to a cave. Then Russell and the kids squeezed through the broken bars. I didn't fit.

Russell got to go fishing. Both with his pole and spear fishing. The water was so beautiful.

This is Russell at the Gorge lookout. It was a great trip.

It only rained on us the last night, so we felt lucky. It was a beautiful place

House Remodel

We finally got our new carpet after months of remodel. It is white with a chocolate fleck, about medium shag. I love it!

This is the old crud carpet that we ripped out!

Russ inlaid this wood into the stairs and ripped off all the old carpet on the wall.

We have the base board to finish and then it will look like new!!

Gymnastics

Today was Savanna's last day of gym. She has done so well we are all proud of her. She has learned how to do all types of "tricks". Not nessisarily something you would see in gymnastics, but she thinks she is pretty good at them.

Pine View

This past weekend we spent time with Russell's family at Pine View. It was a beautiful day and the boys even managed to spear some fish.
