Baby Sign

Well Austin is now 14 month's old, and the proud user of baby sign. I am a total fan of signing with my kids. I think it is one of the best inventions in the world. Starting at 11 months they can usually tell me what they want. It causes very few tantrums from not understanding each other. It also promotes language. Savanna spoke in full sentences at 18 months. This is what Austin can do!

OH Boy we are having....

Well as most of you know. WE went to the ultra sound yesterday and found out that we are having a little girl on March 24th. So they say but I am sure it will be sooner than that. We are so excited. More pink! No name idea's yet. WE need a girl city name...odd I know but everyone needs there quirk. Any suggestions???

Austin Walks

Austin has finally started walking most of the time. He still is a little wobbly but he is doing well enough that around home he walks almost 90% of the time.

Austin turned one

Austin had his first birthday part last night. Grandma and Grandpa munk, and Grandpa and Grandpa Eames were able to join us.



We had a green theme for his birthday! Green cupcakes, wrapping paper and a dinosaur.

He didn't blow it our but he tried to touch it!

He doesn't walk yet but he will climb and stand on the table!

Austins Adventures

Austin got his first black eye this weekend. He can take about 5 steps now and he had almost made it to the bench when he dropped and banged his face along the bench poor guy!

Now this is the true fishing spirit. Even Austin got to enjoy this.

Like Father Like Daughter

Russ is raising up the next generation of fishergirl. Savanna loves to spend the night on a daddy daughter date.She actually had one of these fish bite into her thumb. But she didn't cry she was brave.

First day of School

Savanna Started her first day of preschool this week. She loves it which was a complete relief, considering we have had to drop out of dancing and gymnastics.



Austin also thought he should get to go to school. Or at least have a backpack.

Grandpa's 80th

This Labor day weekend we went to bear lake with the WHOLE family. IT was a great weekend. W surprised Grandpa with an 80th birthday party, and a golf cart.

New Baby

Our new baby is on it's way. At 10 weeks it still looks a little like a bug. But I am sure it will grow fast enough. Any votes on a boy or girl?

Bad Hair

Well last week I had the worst hair color of my life! I went in to this lady that lives by me because she was recommended (Jamie Hirsiy). I wanted low light and highlights put in. Well the color that she put in for the low lights was a gray brown. Then the color for the highlights was almost white. making me look like a blue heeler. Not to mention it was damaged beyond repair. Even the brown was damaged...which should not have been! So I called her, I have not gotten a phone call back!
My mom came over and put another color on it, so now it is redish brown. A color I can live with. It's just the damage done to my hair that is pretty much non-fixable. Unless I want to cut it all of and be bald! HEre are some pictures. The frizziness is just fried hair.

Doctors Visits

Yesterday my friend rushed her daughter to the doctor when she did not feel good and had a 103 fever. They sent her home, and kept the co-pay. It just got me thinking of all the things doctors do not want to see you for. I thought I would share. Feel free to comment and add to the list, or disagree. Maybe it's just my doctor.

DO NOT Bother IF:

-Fever over 102' (unless it is at 106 for 5 days or more, that is what they told me)
-A Rash (doesn't really matter what it looks like it's a virus)
-Cough ( unless it has lasted for a really long time)
-Constant crying (there might be something wrong..they just may not have clue)
-Runny nose (unless followed by a low grade fever)
-Goopy eyes (in babies is just tiny sinus's backing up)

Am I missing any???

8/9/09 7 Years together

Yesterday we celebrated our 7th Anniversary..actually we celebrated friday and had date night. Hamiltons and Harry Potter, with no kids. It doesn't get any better than that. Well looking back at the last 7 years we have lived in 3 homes and 2 states. Gone through 6 vehicle and have 2.4 kids and a dog. Life is great and we look forward to the next 7! (At that point all the children will be in school!) :)It dosen't get any better than that!

Swim Lessons

Both Savanna and Austin just completed swim lessons. I have two little fish. They both loved it!

Yellowstone

We spent a mini vacation in yellowsone this summer. It was alot of fun. The kids did really well. The only thing I would change was the crowds at Yellowstone stopping in the middle of the road, causing 3 hour traffic delays to see a eagle. Not kidding!

Crawdad's

This weekend we had a crawdad adventure. We went to Lost creek (in the middle of nowhere) and caught crawdads. Then we cooked them up and ate them. We ranked them better than shrimp, not as good as crab.

Savanna's Hair Cut

Well I took Savanna in for her first big girl haircut. Now she looks so much older. But It is so easy to do, and she loves it.

Austin Crawls

Well we have been working up to this now for a couple weeks but Austin has become very mobil. He doesn't crawl exactly it is more like the worm. He gets up on his toes, then he runs until he falls. This odd method does move him forward very quickly. He really wants to walk....but he is not allowed yet.

Kristol had her baby!

I am a new aunt! Kriston had baby Daxton yesterday at 7:07 PM. WE were in the waiting room and saw him just after he was born. He is so cute at 7'3 and 21in.

Summer Fun

The kids are enjoying summer. For Savanna's birthday she had a water party with 10 little kids. They had a blast. austin also enjoyed it. My baby is now 4!

Puppy Love

On mothers day Austin got to have a visit with aunt Kathryn's new puppy. It is so cute. The kids both loved it. Austin tried to suck on it. It was very darling.
